Bonaventure Island is a small Island off the coast of Quebec in Canada, adjacent to the tourist town of Percé. The Island and it's families have a rich history.
The purpose of this website is to share information and photographs with others interested in the families who lived on the island prior to its expropriation by the Quebec Government which took place in the 1970s following a statute dated October 17, 1971.
Anyone who would like to contribute photos, genealogy, individual biographies or write articles about their daily lives, etc., are very welcome to do so.
If you find any error or omissions please contact me with the correct information and which page you saw it on. Any submissions, questions, comments, suggestions or especially corrections should be addressed to Richard J. Duval via email by clicking here.
